Henry: We Can Rescue SWP
When Shaun Wright Phillips signed for Chelsea at a whopping £21 million, many people were surprised. Firstly, because of the massive transfer fee, and secondly, because we’d all expected him to follow the footsteps of his dad and join Arsenal.
His decission to join Chelsea has looked to be the wrong one, with him playing in just a handful of games. He missed out on what could be his only chance to go to the World Cup through lack of game time for the blues.
Henry has spoken out today about his desire to sign the son of former Arsenal hero, Ian Wright. “One player who springs to mind is Chelsea’s Shaun Wright-Phillips. If he could be picked up on loan, I’m sure he could do a great job, given half a chance.”
Will Chelsea allow SWP to join their rivals?

SWP definitely has to go away from Chelsea. He doesn’t play much and Chelsea also has Joe Cole or Arjen Robben and - considering that they mostly play the midfield diamond - SWP’s great potential is being unused. I myself am a fan of Chelsea but I wish SWP all the best and currently it means that he should join Arsenal.
Join Arsenal, or some other team where he could see European action.
